Over the years, Jai Bharath Educational Foundation has become one of the leading promoters of academic institutions in the country under the vision and guidance of eminent personalities from different walks of life. 3rd June 2009 is a memorable date in the history of Jai Bharath Educational Foundation when it received the AICTE approval for the Jai Bharath College of Management and Engineering Technology and subsequently, on 20th August 2009, the College got the affiliation from University for CE, M.E, EEE, ECE & CSE branches. The classes for the first batch of students commenced on 24th August 2009.

Principal & Associate Professor
Dr.Shameer K Mohammed
Dr. Shameer K. Mohammed is an academic leader, researcher, and innovator with over a decade of expertise in Artificial Intelligence, underwater acoustics, and embedded systems.
He holds a B.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering from Mahatma Gandhi University, an M.Tech in Embedded Systems from Karunya University, and a Ph.D. in Ocean Electronics from Bharathiar University. He completed his Post-Doctoral Research at Cochin University of Science & Technology (CUSAT), specializing in AI-driven underwater acoustic signal processing and machine learning applications.
Dr. Shameer served as Project Scientist for a Naval Research Board (DRDO) project, leading underwater data collection expeditions and developing intelligent sonar-based automated target recognition systems. He has published research papers in reputed journals and is an approved Ph.D. Research Guide at APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University.
He has held key academic administrative roles including Vice Principal, Head of Department, and Nodal Officer for Government skill development and startup initiatives, mentoring students in innovation and entrepreneurship platforms such as the Smart India Hackathon.
With industry experience as a Project Manager in a Technopark-based IT firm, Executive Director of Bharati Infologics Pvt. Ltd., and CEO of Bluemink Innovations Pvt. Ltd. (incubated at CITTIC, CUSAT), he bridges academia and industry effectively.
A Fellow of the Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE) and Founder Director of Gandhigram Rural Development Trust, he combines academic excellence with strong social commitment—championing technology-driven solutions for societal impact.
