"The department of Mechanical Engineering is an impressive branch of study in Jai Bharath College of Management and Engineering Technology. It has progressed by leaps and bounds in a very short span of time. The department aims at the development of technology with research initiatives at its spine. Both the Polytechnic and Polytechnic in Mechanical engineering are comprehensive programmes altogether.. The aim of the curriculum is to create a flexible under-graduate educational experience in mechanical design, management and the emerging science. The chief study thesis includes fluid mechanics, thermodynamics and heat transfer, solid mechanics, material science and engineering, machine design, manufacturing, energy systems, dynamics and control, CAD, CAM, machine drawing etc. Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, at JBCMET enable the students to customise their programmes to meet their objectives and career goals. This programme can be considered as a launching pad for professional careers in both business and public services. An interactive relationship is sustained between the students and faculty, which equips them to develop a toned foundation in the stream within a promising environment."
